About the Program
The Showcase Program celebrates youth artists of all ages from the local community, highlighting a range of creative expression. Throughout the year, the DAM partners with a variety of community organizations to recognize and amplify youth voices.
Youth showcases are in the Wonderscape, located in the lower level of the Martin Building. Entry is included with general admission. If you are planning to visit with a group of 10 or more, please call ahead to the Group Services Department at 720-913-0086 or submit your information online. All group visits require a 1:10 chaperone ratio.
Upcoming Showcase: Indomitably Indigenous
October 23-January 7, 2027
Indomitably Indigenous is a youth art showcase featuring youth artists ages 12–25 who identify as Indigenous. Presented in partnership with Honoring Our Mother Earth, the exhibition opens October 23, 2026 in the DAM's Wonderscape gallery.
Inspired by our partner organization, Honoring Our Mother Earth (H.O.M.E), we invite artists to create work that calls attention to intergenerational healing that connects with the land, environmental stewardship, and nature-based cultural traditions. Works may be grounded in one or more of these themes and are open to be interpreted further. Submissions open August 24, 2026, and will be accepted through September 25.

We are currently seeking emerging Indigenous-identifying artists ages 12–25 to showcase their work at the Denver Art Museum. Submissions will be accepted August 24 through September 25, 2026.
About Honoring Our Mother Earth
H.O.M.E. is a nurturing space where Native American and BIPOC youth, elders, and families heal together. Rooted in land-based education, traditions, the arts, and outdoor experiences, we preserve cultural knowledge and plant seeds for a lifelong relationship with Mother Earth.

Artwork Submission Details
- Submit 1–3 pieces (2D, 3D, digital, fashion, or traditional—yes, beadwork too!)
- 2D work
- Size limit is 36 in x 48 in
- Must be matted (matboard, cardstock, or construction paper)
- Hanging pieces must be under 3 lbs—no glass or heavy frames
- 3D work
- Size limit is 24 in x 24 in x 36 in
- Pieces must be under 50 lbs
- No artwork made of organic materials that would attract bugs/dust

Includes a professional development day + community reception.
