Group Tours

Get a guided tour of the museum’s collections and special exhibitions for groups of 10 or more

Book a Group Tour

Groups of 10 or more are welcome to request a docent-led tour of the museum’s collections and special exhibitions.

Requests must be made at least three weeks in advance. Tours scheduled less than three weeks out will incur a rush fee of $100. Members receive a 10% discount on group tour packages booked on Mondays. Please note full payment is due at time of booking. If this is not possible for your group, payment must be made at least two weeks prior to your visit date.

Pricing for Docent-Led Collection Tours:

  • Up to 10 guests | $240 on weekdays; $270 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • 11–20 guests | $480 on weekdays; $540 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • 21–30 guests | $720 on weekdays; $810 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • 31–40 guests | $960 on weekdays; $1,080 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

Pricing for Self-Led Collection Tours:

  • Up to 10 guests | $190 on weekdays; $220 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • 11–20 guests | $380 on weekdays; $440 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • 21–30 guests | $570 on weekdays; $660 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • 31–40 guests | $760 on weekdays; $810 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

Groups are welcome to make reservations at The Ponti, the Denver Art Museum's locally-sourced and seasonally-inspired restaurant. There are also numerous other restaurants available within walking distance in Denver's Golden Triangle neighborhood.

We seek to design visits that meet the needs of people of all abilities. When requesting a tour online, please let us know if there is a need for bilingual programming, as well any mobility needs or special circumstances we should be aware of.

All restrooms are wheelchair accessible and can be found on every level of the Hamilton and Martin Buildings. Accessible parking spaces are also available on 13th Avenue south of Broadway Street. Review our Accessibility page for more information.

Access Tours

Led by a docent with special training in engaging visitors with disabilities, these 60-minute tours explore the museum’s collection galleries and special exhibitions. Designed to be interactive and accessible, choose a tour that best meets your needs:

  • Group Art and About Tour: Designed to engage adults with memory loss and groups from memory-care communities.
  • Verbal Description and Tactile Tour: Designed for visitors who are blind or have low-vision, tours incorporate verbal description and tactile objects.
  • Custom Access Tour: Designed to engage adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities.
  • Self-Guided Tour: Groups can explore the museum on their own, without a guide.
