This work reflects on the effect humans have on the natural world; on his inspiration the artist noted: “Driving to the Tuscarora Reservation one time I saw a crow in an enormous land fill said to contain the toxic fill from Love Canal and other sites all contaminated. Crows can’t read the warning signs on the fence surrounding the landfill.”
