In nearly all of her paintings, drawings, and installations, Nicole Eisenman relentlessly, but humorously, explores issues of sexual politics.

Apple Orchard references Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden — with a twist. Here, tangles of wrestling bodies of both sexes are fighting each other; humans, not the serpent, are causing the mayhem.
