Watercolor Postcards
In this 1-day workshop, students will experiment with different watercolor techniques to make a set of 10 postcards.
Students will learn wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques to create miniature paintings. Subjects for these paintings include works in the Denver Art Museum’s collections, landscapes, flowers, and abstract designs. The instructor will demonstrate and have examples of each of these styles.
Pricing: $95 for Museum Friends and CultureHaus, $100 for members and students, and $110 for non-members. Price includes a $30 studio fee for all materials provided.
Refund and Class Cancellation Policy: The DAM adheres to a no-refund, no-exchange policy. If you are unable to attend, please consider your payment a tax-deductible donation. If a class or workshop is cancelled due to inclement weather or teacher illness, a make-up day will be scheduled as the educator’s schedule allows.
About the Educator
Elizabeth Truskin is an artist from Denver who specializes in portraits and mixed-media paintings. Her work is featured in galleries along the front range and consistently at Next Gallery in Lakewood, CO. Truskin teaches art classes for Denver Public Schools, Redline Contemporary Arts Center, Denver Recreational Centers, and the Denver Art Museum.
