We are open six days a week. Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Sunday-Monday: 10 am–5 pm
Tuesday: 10 am–8 pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday-Saturday: 10 am–5 pm

Admission

General admission grants entry to the entire Denver Art Museum campus, including the Hamilton Building, Martin Building, and The Kirkland. Your admission is valid only for the date printed on the ticket and does not include entry to ticketed exhibitions.

General admission is always free for members. Membership also includes access to members-only events, previews, and discounts.

Free Admission and Discount Opportunities

Free Days at the DAM: Free general admission for all visitors

General admission is free to all visitors several times a year thanks to the Free Days at the DAM, presented by Your 6 Front Range Toyota Stores and made possible, in part, by funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).

Free Days in 2025 include January 14, February 22, March 11, April 8, April 27, May 13, June 10, July 8, July 27, August 12, September 6, September 9, October 14, November 8, and December 9. Find an upcoming free day on our online calendar.

Please be aware free general admission does not include entry to ticketed exhibitions.

Discounted general admission for Colorado resident SNAP cardholders

Colorado resident SNAP cardholders may purchase discounted tickets by presenting their SNAP card at the visitor services desk upon arrival. Learn more.

Free for Kids: Free general admission for youth 18 and under

Presented by Bellco Credit Union, the Free for Kids program grants free general admission to all visitors 18 and under every day we're open. For 10 years, this program has granted more kids access to art than ever before. These funds also enable the museum to offer special $5 youth pricing for ticketed exhibitions.

Blue Star Museums: Free general admission for active-duty military in the summer

We participate in the National Endowment of Arts' Blue Star Museums initiative, which offers free admission to active duty military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day (May 17, 2025) through Labor Day (September 1, 2025).

Discounted general admission for aides or caregivers

If you will be accompanied by an aide or caregiver on your visit, we are able to offer them a discounted rate. Please call us at 720-913-0130 during museum operating hours (10 am-5 pm daily) for more information.

We are located downtown in Denver's Golden Triangle neighborhood.

Enter at the Hamilton Building, Martin Building, or The Kirkland. Street and metered parking is available nearby, as well as several parking lots within walking distance.

Explore the Campus

Hamilton Building

Polish-American architect Daniel Libeskind designed the 146,000-square-foot Hamilton Building, which houses four floors of art from the museum's collection, temporary exhibitions, learning spaces, and Sharp Auditorium.

Martin Building

Designed by Italian architect Gio Ponti, the 210,000-square-foot Martin Building is home to eight stories of art from the museum's collection, as well as temporary exhibitions, learning spaces, the Sie Welcome Center, and more.

The Kirkland

The Kirkland, a 38,500-square-foot building designed by American architect Jim Olson, is the latest addition to our campus. It features international decorative art, Colorado and regional art, and a career retrospective of celebrated painter Vance Kirkland.

The Ponti

The Ponti combines art and dining with a locally sourced and seasonally inspired menu. Located in the Martin Building, it is open for lunch six days a week; dinner on Tuesdays and Fridays; brunch on the weekends; and happy hour in the summer.

Café Gio

Café Gio offers quick-service casual dining with indoor and outdoor seating. Located across from The Ponti in the Martin Building, it is open during regular museum hours (closing at 5 pm on most Tuesdays).

The Shops

The Shops, located in the Hamilton Building and The Kirkland, offer a unique assortment of art-inspired gifts and souvenirs. Every in-person and online purchase helps support the museum's programs and collections.

Don't Miss: Camille Pissarro's Impressionism

Fans of Monet, van Gogh, and Cézanne, don't miss our next ticketed exhibition The Honest Eye: Camille Pissarro’s Impressionism.

Opening October 26, the show is the first major US retrospective of Camille Pissarro in over 40 years. Tickets go on sale later this summer.
