The Wild Studio is the new theme for the museum's Studio, located on level 1 of the Hamilton Building. Inspired by Wild Things: The Art of Maurice Sendak, the Wild Studio is an artmaking space dedicated to making tactile experiences that evoke a connection to one’s inner playfulness and sense of joy.
Entry to the Wild Studio is included with general admission. Tickets are required to see Wild Things: The Art of Maurice Sendak and are available to purchase online or in person.
About the Artist
Andrea Fischer (she/her) identifies as a fiber artist living in Denver, CO. With the strict use of recycled yarn, she makes one of a kind soft sculptures. Her color experiments mingle with her own self discovered technique of rug making to create whimsical functional objects.
