A tangle of discarded objects—including a saxophone, various percussion instruments, and the head of a rocking horse—emerges from beneath the surface of this chair. Jay Sae Jung Oh assembles these and other found items into a structure using epoxy and duct tape, then meticulously wraps it in leather cord. The result is a unified work that transforms disparate elements into a striking commentary on consumerism, waste, and the ways design can reimagine our everyday world.
