Educator Night

Educator night is all about bringing joy and appreciation to our educators! Educators will receive information about our school and community offerings, get to create artwork, and go on a tour with our school docents.

We host this annual event evey year in the fall. The next event will be in October 2025. Stay tuned for more details this fall.

Creativity in Practice

Creativity in Practice is a new professional development opportunity for early childhood educators.

We will be hosting an inaugural one-day Summer Instititue event on July 19, providing educators with a day of professional development sessions designed to increase confidence in incorporating art and creativity in the classroom.

Space is limited, so please register early!

Homeschool Program Day

Homeschool Program Days provide museum education programming for homeschool groups in a format that can meet their unique needs.

AP / IB Days at the DAM

AP Art History and IB Visual Art classes are invited to attend AP/IB Fridays in April! This is a great opportunity for your students to learn and have hands-on practice before their exams!

Choose from two options: Book a 1-hour docent led tour focusing on four floors. The docents will provide information about the artworks and lead student discussions. Students will then have a 30-minute lunch, followed by an hour of self-guided exploration. Or book a 2-hour self-guided tour conducted by the teacher with a 30-minute lunch break.

Whether you have a docent-led tour or not, the Denver Art museum will provide printed AP/IB journals for all students to guide them through looking at the art in the museum. The journal has more than can be reasonably done in an hour, but students can keep the journal and return to the art museum to extend their study.
