More ways you can join and support the DAM community.

Annual Fund Leadership Campaign

Patrons of the Annual Fund Leadership Campaign (AFLC) are part of the Denver Art Museum’s innermost circle and make a profound difference in our community by supporting the development of world-class exhibitions. The museum entered a new era when the Frederic C. Hamilton Building opened in 2007 and allowed for more ambitious exhibitions like Becoming Van Gogh: His Years in Paris, 1886-1888, Brilliant: Cartier in the 20th Century, Women of Abstract Expressionism, Dior: From Paris to the World, and Claude Monet: The Truth of Nature. The Annual Fund Leadership Campaign is a multi-year fund which makes major exhibitions like these possible for our entire community to experience.

Annual Fund Leadership Campaign supporters are recognized on the prestigious donors’ walls of the museum as well as in the Annual Report. AFLC patrons are invited to top tier events throughout the year, such as the annual Chairman’s Dinner, VIP receptions, and dinners with artists, visiting schools and curators at the museum and in fabulous homes.

Gifts to the AFLC range from $10,000 to $100,000 per year through 5-year pledges. This multi-year support is fully tax-deductible ensures that the DAM’s exhibitions and programs will continue to be innovative and inspiring in the future.

Collectors' Groups

In recent years, the Denver Art Museum has worked with small groups of individual collectors and patrons to thoughtfully build the permanent collection through new acquisitions of art. These individuals commit toward an annual acquisition or project proposed by the curators of their selected department, helping to grow and expand the museum’s collection in a meaningful way. These exclusive, invitation–only groups become deeply connected to the department they support, gaining special insight into the curator’s collecting strategy and development of future exhibitions. This close link to the curator and community of collectors also informs members’ personal collecting knowledge.

$5,000 minimum annual contribution per group includes participation for two people, while a $2,500 Young Collectors level is available for supporters 45 and younger.

Please indicate your interest in joining one of these groups by contacting Mary Beth Polce at mbpolce@denverartmuseum.org or 720-913-0035. If you are interested in making an acquisition contribution at another level or in another museum department, we'd love to talk with you as well.

  • Learn about exhibition plans and other departmental insights and receive invitations to department-related exhibitions and programs.
  • Gain knowledge of collecting trends and opportunities through the curator and other knowledgeable members.
