Olivia Davies: What will your demonstration at the DAM look like? What can visitors expect?
Mason Taylor: My art demonstration will include a completed full-sized wire and sisal twine lion, and I will be constructing on-site downscaled horse head and necks. Visitors can expect a very interactive demonstration, discussion about the inspiration behind my art, life growing up on the ranch, etc.

Catch an unexpected musical performance!
Stop by Create Playdate on Wednesday, May 9, to catch a mini-opera with perennial favorites Central City Opera. Create an animal disguise, and participate in one of their kid-friendly performances at 10:45 am, 11:30 am, and 12:30 pm. Music and making happen in A Walk in the Woods on Level 3.

Olivia Davies: What will your demonstration at the DAM look like? What can visitors expect?
Work is well under way at the Denver Art Museum to make room for a brand new welcome center. The completed project in 2021 will include a renovated North Building and a united art museum campus in the heart of the Golden Triangle Creative District.
Meanwhile, the DAM’s Hamilton Building is open 7 days per week during construction, and we will continue to share more as the project continues. Keep an eye on for continued updates about the exciting project.

Mohammad Saffa: I will be demonstrating how to prepare a mold for any shape from clay. I will be building a whole sculpture while visitors observe the different processes with a verbal explanation of each step.
