An artist’s medium can itself be a source of inspiration. In this exhibition, you will see creative combinations of natural elements—including stones and tree trunks—with other materials like glass, rubber, and even the human body (Antonio Pichillá, Eddie Rodolfo Aparicio). Other artists use more conventional media like ceramics, textiles, and paint, but play with color, texture, and scale to disrupt our expectations of familiar forms (Juan Pablo Garza, Yuli Yamagata).
