Companion to the Strauss Photography Collection at the Denver Art Museum accompanied the Denver Art Museum exhibition Photography & Vision: The Influence of Joyce and Ted Strauss in 2014–15. Joyce and Ted Strauss transformed the museum's photography collection through their involvement as patrons, collectors, curators, and passionate advocates for the medium. This book features an introduction by Eric Paddock, curator of photography at the Denver Art Museum, as well as nearly fifty images and enlightening descriptions of works from the Strauss Photography Collection, including early masterworks as well as experimental photographs by emerging artists.
