The Denver Art Museum (DAM) has returned an ancient stone sculpture from its collection to the people of Nepal. Ownership of the artwork, called Figure of Uma-Maheshvaramurti, was transferred from the museum to representatives from the Nepalese embassy.

Opening November 2021, exhibition to present more than 100 artworks from 1855 to 1913 by a range of artists that include Cecilia Beaux, William Merritt Chase, Childe Hassam, Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent and Henry Ossawa Tanner
Exhibition to include 20 of Véronique’s iconic looks recently donated to the museum, as well as fashion sketches, photographs, archival fashion, family film clips, letters and documentation showcasing 15 couturiers and designers from around the world
