Denver Art Museum announces Uncorked 2024

Signature wine-centric fundraiser to supports museum collections and programs

DENVER – May 21, 2024 – The Denver Art Museum is kicking off the summer season with its annual Uncorked wine dinner and auction on Friday, June 7. The vibrant fundraiser celebrates the connection, creativity and community that art inspires, in support of the museum’s Learning & Engagement programs that serve our community. This festive evening is beloved for its inspired food-and-drink pairings and lively entertainment indoors and out.

“The museum’s Learning & Engagement team creates innovative programs for our community that are holistic, engaging children, adults, teachers and families,” said Christoph Heinrich, the Frederick and Jan Mayer Director of the museum. “At the DAM, programs spark creativity and leverage the arts to forge important connections that are fruitful, positive, and that are founded on equity, diversity and inclusion.”

Uncorked includes inspired details throughout the evening, from elevated tastings hosted by featured wineries and distilleries. A truly unique silent auction will expand the experience with more than 100 lots offering collectible wines, extraordinary experiences and limited-edition artworks. The silent auction launches online June 1 and closes at 9 p.m. on the night of the event.

The June 7 event begins at the museum at 6:30 p.m. with an outdoor cocktail reception, followed by a sunset dinner with wine pairings in Sturm Grand Pavilion. A lounge with an array of desserts and after-dinner drinks will close out the evening in Kemper Courtyard.
