Admission

Admission to The Honest Eye: Camille Pissarro's Impressionism is $5 on top of general admission. General admission grants entry to the entire Denver Art Museum campus, including the Hamilton Building, Martin Building, and The Kirkland. Your admission is valid only for the date printed on the ticket and does not include entry to ticketed exhibitions. Please note: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays have peak pricing. 

General admission is always free for members. Membership also includes access to members-only events, previews, and discounts.

Free Admission and Discount Opportunities

General admission is free to all visitors several times a year thanks to the Free Days at the DAM, presented by Your 6 Front Range Toyota Stores and made possible, in part, by funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).

Free Days in 2025 include January 14, February 22, March 11, April 8, April 27, May 13, June 10, July 8, July 27, August 12, September 6, September 9, October 14, November 8, and December 9. Find an upcoming free day on our online calendar.

Please be aware free general admission does not include entry to ticketed exhibitions.

Colorado resident SNAP cardholders may purchase discounted tickets as part of the Explorer Pass, granting entry into many Denver area museums (including the DAM) for $1-$5. Present your SNAP card at the visitor services desk upon arrival to receive the discount. SNAP pricing will still be honored past November 1, 2025. Learn more.

Presented by Bellco Credit Union, the Free for Kids program grants free general admission to all visitors 18 and under every day we're open. For 10 years, this program has granted more kids access to art than ever before. These funds also enable the museum to offer special $5 youth pricing for ticketed exhibitions.

We participate in the National Endowment of Arts' Blue Star Museums initiative, which offers free admission to active duty military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day (in May) through Labor Day (in September).

If you will be accompanied by an aide or caregiver on your visit, we are able to offer them a discounted rate. Please call us at 720-913-0130 during museum operating hours (10 am-5 pm daily) for more information.

The Denver Art Museum is offering free general admission to all federal government employees plus one guest during the government shutdown. To obtain complimentary general admission, employees should show their Federal ID at the museum welcome desk. They will have the opportunity to explore the museum’s galleries and non-ticketed exhibitions free of charge.

Please note: The Honest Eye: Camille Pissarro's Impressionism is not included in general admission and requires a separate ticket.

Pissarro’s Impressionism is Now Open!

Fans of Monet, Van Gogh, and Cezanne, don't miss The Honest Eye: Camille Pissarro’s Impressionism, the first major US retrospective of Camille Pissarro's work in over 40 years.

The show is now on view through February 8, 2026. Tickets are $5 on top of general admission.
