Edgardo Giménez has designed posters advertising the visual arts, theaters, and dance companies throughout his entire career. This example, from 1987, was made for the Teatro Colón traveling ballet group performing a series of presentations at the Teatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. Giménez only shows the dancer's lower half, centering the floating figure in this surrealist composition.
