In addition to designing posters dedicated to his exhibitions, Edgardo Giménez also designed posters for fellow contemporary artists and art events. This example is part of a series of promotional posters devoted to a commercial art space in Buenos Aires, created by Marta and Jorge Romero Brest, with support from Edgardo Giménez, titled Fuera de caja – Centro de Arte para Consumir (Out of the box – Center of Art to be Consumed). Here, Giménez starts to play with the images of animals, planets, and other recognizable figures found across 1960s propaganda.

Institute of Studies of Latin American Art purchased from artist, Edgardo Giménez, in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2017; 2019 gift to Denver Art Museum.
