Our paid internships provide opportunities to engage diverse audiences, connect visitors and communities with art, assist with our vast offering of programs, and research objects in the collection. Museum education internships within the department of learning and engagement provide practical experience working closely with educators at the Denver Art Museum in one or more of the following divisions:
- Family Programs
- Teacher and School Outreach Programs
- Studio and Artist Programs
To best serve our current and future visitors, we strive to maximize the diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusiveness of our organization. We encourage candidates that represent and embody the diversity found within our community to apply.
We will continue to review applications after the deadlines posted on the job descriptions on an as-needed basis. Please apply even if your availability does not match these exact terms, as there is some flexibility. Please check back as opportunities will be posted periodically.
Please apply through the job portal and be prepared to include:
- Cover Letter
- State why you are interested in the internship
- Your availability
Please send questions to email@example.com
Please note: the department of learning and engagement has a limited number of internships available each term. Internship applications are typically reviewed after the deadline, and the selection process takes up to five weeks after the application deadline. If we are unable to match you with an internship, you will be notified once all selections have been made.
Disclosure: For the safety of our visitors and our collection, all interns accepted will be subject to a criminal background check.
