Overview
Bring an object, a photo, or any memory to contribute to artist Lares Feliciano’s upcoming installation, Memory Mirror (opening July 2021).
Memory Mirror is an immersive installation that invites visitors to explore their relationship with memory through animation, dioramas, and interactive storytelling. Designed to feel like an intimate living room, Memory Mirror will transform the museum’s Precourt Family Discovery Hall into a surreal domestic den that is both familiar and fantastic.
As part of the installation, Feliciano is hosting this special drop-in event inviting museum visitors and community members to contribute images or objects (no larger than the palm of your hand) that represent a personal memory. There will also be a recording station for those who want to tell and share their memory through audio.
The Denver Art Museum will be offering free admission to all visitors on April 25, as part of our Free Days at the DAM program.
Please be aware the museum is currently operating under limited capacity in accordance with city guidelines. We strongly encourage you to reserve your ticket online ahead of your visit. Tickets for the April 25 free day will be made available two weeks prior. Learn more.
