Creative Classes FAQ

No, artists of all skill levels are welcome in the DAM's Creative Classes. Each class is uniquely crafted by a creative educator for an adult audience, designed to scale to help you learn a new skill or to expand upon your existing creative practice.

Educators are working professional artists, writers, dancers, actors, musicians, and others with a robust practice, who share their work at a national level. Our educators have instructional backgrounds within institutions such as colleges, universities, and museums. Each educator has a distinctive practice and is excited to share their expertise with others.

The DAM adheres to a no-refund, no-exchange policy. If you are unable to attend, please consider your payment a tax-deductible donation.

If a class or workshop is cancelled due to inclement weather or teacher illness, a make-up day will be scheduled as the educator’s schedule allows.

Classes are taught in the Denver Art Museum's Creative Hub, located on level 1 of the Martin Building. Upon entry into the Creative Hub, look for either the Ruby Red Workshop or the Sky Blue Workshop, traditional studio art classrooms designed as artmaking spaces for adults.
