About the Program
The Spotlight Program showcases art created by artists in the Denver metro area. Dynamic, inventive, and vibrant—our communities are rich with creative expression. By highlighting the voices and work of local community members, we honor and celebrate the creativity that lies within us all. Organizations we've collaborated with in the past include Access Gallery, The Center on Colfax, Las Adelitas Living the Arts, the Stronghold Society, the University of Denver, and many others.
Adult spotlights are in the Creative Hub, located on level 1 of the Martin Building. Entry is included with general admission. If you are planning to visit with a group of 10 or more, please call ahead to the Group Services Department at 720-913-0086 or submit your information online.
Current Spotlight: Colombia: Nature, Culture, and Connection

Step into a journey through nature, culture, and creativity at Colombia: Nature, Culture, and Connection, an immersive exhibition presented by the Latino Arts & Culture Institute (LACI).
Explore the rich landscapes, traditions, and stories that make Colombia one of the world's most biodiverse countries. Through interactive installations, handcrafted art, photography, and cultural experiences, discover how nature shapes identity, creativity, and community.
This showcase invites visitors to connect, reflect, and celebrate the vibrant relationship between people, place, and heritage that continues to define Colombia today.

Upcoming Spotlight: Elevating OUR Voices!

The next Community Spotlight will feature artwork in collaboration with the Women's Caucus for Art Colorado Chapter.
Elevating OUR Voices! features work by members of the Women’s Caucus for Art Colorado Chapter (WCACO) and celebrates the perspectives and contributions of women and female-identifying artists across Colorado. Founded in 1990, WCACO is the Colorado Chapter of the Women’s Caucus for Art and the largest of its 15 chapters nationwide. The organization fosters an inclusive community through professional development, exhibitions, networking, advocacy, and social transformation.
Celebrate the opening with the Women's Caucus for Art at a reception in the Creative Hub on Tuesday, November 10, from 5-7 pm.
