Overview
Join curator Dakota Hoska (Lak óta), Dr. Angelica Lawson (Arapaho), and Jan Jacobs (Osage) for a lively conversation on the portrayal of Native people in film and cinema. Their discussion will consider how depictions of Indigenous people have changed over time, and what direction Native producers, writers and actors might take things next. You'll also enjoy a first-hand reflection on the interactions that occurred with the Osage community during the filming of the upcoming movie Killers of the Flower Moon.
