A collaboration of moving images by Alejandra Abad and poetry by Gwendalynn Roebke, author of A Bruxist Manifesto. Using magical realism, the animated video evokes a sense of wonder about our survival in an expansive universe.

Requerimiento, Hamilton, Level 2 Atrium, 6–10 pm
Alejandra Abad explores the text of the Requerimiento in this animated video. Written by a member of the Royal Council of Castile (about 1510), the Requerimiento was read by conquistadors to indigenous people to justify the colonization and conquest of the Americas.

Join the Playground Ensemble's Conrad Kehn and Rachel Hargroder to interact with a wide variety of recycled instruments built by musicians. Participants can also make their own small instrument to take home!

Dive into printmaking by creating your very own fabric patches from carved stamps that promote spreading kindness, resiliency, empathy, wonder, and delight—with Emily Hope Dobkin (of Betterish) and Olive Moya.

Three interactive monuments invite participants to create rubbings from their textured surfaces. Rubbings are imprints—they are intended to allow the creator to carry forth a manual image from objects that are often completely immobile or fleetingly impermanent. By Robert Martin (they/them).
