Discover how the Denver Art Museum's three unique buildings (the Hamilton Building, Martin Building, and The Kirkland) exemplify the changing vision of what an art museum can be. Weather permitting, the tours will include time outdoors exploring the buildings’ exteriors in addition to the galleries.
Architecture Tours occur on the second Saturday of each month.
Join us for a one-hour tour of The Kirkland, now part of the Denver Art Museum's campus.

Led by specially trained docents, tours of The Stars We Do Not See: Australian Indigenous Art will introduce you to the breadth and brilliance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art through works from the late 1800s to today. You will see ochre paintings made on bark, works that share important stories of place and identity, and pieces in neon, video, and photography, and more. You will meet artists who maintain and reinvigorate Ancestral artistic practices—revealing the diversity, resilience, and creativity behind the world’s longest continuous cultures.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this exhibition contains images, voices, and names of deceased persons. Tours will begin April 19, 2026.
