Overview
Our featured "Meet and Make" artist for January’s Sensory-Friendly Morning is Moe Gram. Moe Gram is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Denver and works on a diverse array of mediums that include painting, mural, collage, and installation. She is also the co-designer and curator of the DAM’s Creative Hub. Learn more about Moe’s work at her website or follow her on Instagram.
Our friends from McNicholas Miniature Therapy Horses will be back to provide equine therapy (as well as general cuteness). Like October’s event, this Sensory-Friendly Morning will also see the addition of an extra hour, the expansion of the event to both the Hamilton and Martin buildings, and the introduction of new and improved sensory-friendly accommodations. Please note: Sensory-Friendly Morning begins at 9 am in Hamilton. The museum opens at 10 am for general admission. Light and audio will return to regular levels at 12 pm.
This event is free with registration.
Sensory-Friendly Mornings are supported by The Blue Ribbon Arts Initiative, Autism Community Store, and The Autism Society of Colorado Opening Doors™ Program.
