K-Pop Dance Workshop

Join the Denver Art Museum’s first K-pop program to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month! Collaborating with KonnectPop, a Colorado-based K-pop fan community group that specializes in K-pop dance and performance, the museum hosts an opportunity to learn about the choreography, music, and art. This event will include two performances by Illuminate Dance Group, a short presentation on K-pop dance and the arts by Arianna Flory, Curatorial Assistant at Large, and Ji Young Park, the newly appointed National Museum of Korea Fellow of Korean Art, and a 30-minute dance workshop led by Illuminate Dance Group.
This event is included with general admission. Please wear something you can dance in.
