Indomitably Indigenous
Indomitably Indigenous is a community showcase that celebrates the identities and talents of emerging Indigenous artists from the Denver metropolitan area.
Colorado Native is housed within the RedLine Contemporary Art Center. RedLine is a nonprofit arts organization in Denver that fosters education and engagement between artists and communities to create positive social change.
The Colorado Native Cultural Enrichment Program is an innovative, inter-tribal program that fosters connections between Native/ Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) foster youth, families and elders through cultural arts education. Our goal is to launch a permanent youth and family program for one of the most underserved minority groups in Denver, Colorado. The Colorado Native organization is rooted in culture, art, history, tradition and tribal protocol. Youth and their guardians learn about the unique cultures of tribes from different regions of the US, as well as traditional Powwow protocols. Our program offers a new approach to supporting Native and ICWA youth, families, and elders by nurturing a kinship relationship within the Denver Metro Native community.
Indomitably Indigenous is on view through December 10, 2023, in the Wonderscape located on the lower level of the Martin Building.
