Harnessing the Arts to Promote Wellness: Theory and Practice
Like exercise and a healthy diet, art and creativity are essential to human health and well-being. Learn how (and why) the brain and body respond to art and how that supports our health and wellbeing. The program will close with a guided creative activity led by the Colorado Resiliency Arts Lab (CORAL).
Speakers include Emmeline Edwards, PhD, Research Director, NeuroArts Blueprint Initiative for the NeuroArts Blueprint Initiative and the International Arts + Mind Lab at Johns Hopkins; and Katherine Reed LPC, ATR, Co-Investigator of Colorado Resiliency Arts Lab (CORAL).
