Garden Guides
Enjoy guided access to our Sensory Garden! The garden is an accessible outdoor space for visitors of all ages and abilities to engage with and enjoy plants that evoke the five senses.
The Sensory Garden is open daily during regular museum hours but volunteers are present midday on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays to answer questions and interact with visitors (weather permitting).
The entrance to the Sensory Garden can be accessed through the lower level of the Martin Building. From the main entrance, please use the stairs or elevator to reach the Lower Level, then exit through the glass doors into the Kemper Courtyard. Once you get outside, follow the green signs to the north side of the building.
The Sensory Garden, located in the Clarence V. LaGuardia Foundation Courtyard at the DAM, is supported by Roger Cohen in memory of Becky Cohen, two anonymous gifts, Christopher K. M. Leach & Chad Skrbina, and the residents who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).
