Visit the Studio for a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process with the Demonstrating Artist program! Denver-based artist Taylor Carlton invites you to connect and create art from 12 to 3 pm in the brand new Dream Studio, located on level 1 of the Hamilton Building.
About the Demonstrating Artist program: Connect with an artist from our local Denver community as they share their own artistic process, and get inspired to explore your own creativity through hands-on activities throughout the Studio. About the Artist
Taylor Carlton is a mixed media artist with experience in garments, jewelry, sculpture, and stained glass. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber Arts and Ceramics from MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) and previously worked in the garment production industry as a sewist, trainer, and manager.
She is currently focusing on nature-inspired stained glass art and decor that frequently employs organic materials. Her contemporary work embraces and borrows from natural patterns, infusing materials ranging from delicate flowers to shed snake skins to recreate spirals, fractals, and other such organic structures in stained glass creations.
