About Chris Jones, Pen and Ink Illustrator, and Photographer
Chris Jones is a visual artist from Fort Collins, CO who works in various mediums such as photography, illustration, printmaking, and design. He translates most of his ideas and stories into the form of zines, comics, photo books, and other tangible sequential formats. Currently, the majority of Jones’ work is focused on telling stories that investigate various dialogues about the human condition and what it can mean to operate within our current world, internally and externally. Through the use of illustrative comics and sequential narratives, Jones’ concepts are often told through anecdotal perspectives of fictitious and fantastical hand-drawn characters and scenes, which contain juxtaposed visual elements and subject matter.
