About the Landscape Studio

The Denver Art Museum’s interactive Landscape Studio is a place to spark your creativity, connect with Denver’s creative community, and get a new perspective on the artistic process! Explore the powerful ways that places inspire us and discover how artists use different techniques, and their imagination, to bring these landscapes to life. Get hands-on in the creative process through interactive, self-guided art-making activities, our community artist showcase, installations, and demonstrations!

About the Artist

Angel Estrada is an educator and printmaker based in Denver, Colorado. The main focus of his work is the landscape and his relationship with it. Since coming from the arid desert region of southern California, he has been trying to capture the look and feeling of the landscape his experience here in Colorado. Landscapes are his first love but he experiments with painting, illustration, book arts, metalsmithing and more. Angel works out of Globeville Riverfront Arts Center (a part of RINO arts district), where he keeps his studio.
