The Wild Studio is the new theme for the museum's Studio, located on level 1 of the Hamilton Building. Inspired by Wild Things: The Art of Maurice Sendak, the Wild Studio is an artmaking space dedicated to making tactile experiences that evoke a connection to one’s inner playfulness and sense of joy.
Entry to the Wild Studio is included with general admission. Tickets are required to see Wild Things: The Art of Maurice Sendak and are available to purchase online or in person.
About the Artist
Vinni Alfonso was born in Denver Colorado in 1990. He received his BFA in 2012 from the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in Lakewood, CO. Alfonso has since shown work at many of Denver’s premiere art spaces including RedLine Contemporary art Center, Pirate Contemporary Art Oasis, Dateline, and Helikon Gallery. He is currently an associate member at Pirate Contemporary Art Oasis.
