About the Artist

Larysa Medina is a graphic designer and artist originally from Alamosa, Colorado, who moved to Denver at a young age. She grew up drawing with her mother and grandfather, using charcoal and graphite, and later applied these skills to graphic design and acrylic paintings. During high school, she completed a two-year graphic design program at Warren Tech. Later on, she then earned her BFA in Digital Design from the University of Colorado Denver in 2023. Larysa now works as a freelance designer and artist, co-curating art shows and drawing inspiration from her Chicana culture and the tattoo community. She’s also a tattoo apprentice in Lakewood, CO.
