Get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and connect with local artists with Studio Saturdays in the Wild Studio.
The Wild Studio is the current theme for the museum's Studio, located on level 1 of the Hamilton Building. Inspired by Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are, the Wild Studio is an artmaking space dedicated to making tactile experiences that evoke a connection to one’s inner playfulness and sense of joy.
Entry to the Wild Studio is included with general admission.
Kelly Eigenberger will also be doing a special Sunday demonstration on Sunday, July 27, as part of The Kirkland Block Party.
About the Artist
Kelly Eigenberger is a studio potter based in Denver, Colorado. She creates functional, architecturally inspired ceramics using a rich brown stoneware and pastel glazes that capture the fleeting beauty of sunrises and sunsets. Her work favors spontaneity over repetition, with many forms existing only once.
When she’s not at the wheel, Kelly is the Program Director at ReCreative Denver, a nonprofit arts organization focused on creative reuse.
