Creativity in Practice Mini Institute

February 28, 2026 & March 1, 2026

The Creativity in Practice program takes place in the museum's Creative Hub and the DAM will work with the school's professional development calendar.

Sessions and topics include:

Teacher Art Identity: Reflecting on teacher identity in relation to art and creativity (2 Hours)
Teaching for Artistic Behavior (TAB): Introduction to TAB techniques and materials (1 Hour)
Art, Drama & Storytelling: Incorporating drama and storytelling with art and creativity to foster social emotional learning (1 Hour)
Teacher Lesson Planning with Objects and Artworks: Introduction to using objects and artworks at the museum to meet early childhood learning objectives (3 Hours)
