Creative Hub Open House
Celebrate the new artist and new activities in the Creative Hub during an Open House showcasing the refreshed space!
Mijid, founder of the Mongolian Cultural and Heritage Center of Colorado, is installing his artwork Nomadic Spirits in the Creative Hub case. Tsogo's work fuses Mongol zurag painting, Tsam mask-making, and Buddhist scroll painting (thangka) with abstract expressionism.
In Regrown, sustainability artist Carla Gonzalez invites visitors to make their own garden creations from recycled material. Jack Trujillo has visitors make their own unique characters inspired by nostalgic cartooning and shape language in Serious About Shapes. You might recognize Sarah Darlene from the October Untitled and the Creative Class Flow State. In the Creative Hub, she's created a guided meditation to offer a moment of rest and respite.
