We are so grateful parents and grandparents share their love of art and creativity with kids from littles to teens. This month, we invite you to participate in the following programs. The Denver Art Museum is the perfect place to spend some time this month. See artworks from around the world and many cultures, get creative making your own art, and even find some inspiration for costume ideas for Halloween.

1. Start the month with a story
Get to know local artist Adri Norris.
Carlos Frésquez will be in the Paint Studio September 7-8 and September 14-15. The Paint Studio is included with general admission, which is free for members and youth 18 and under.
Although summer officially wraps up in September, the museum shows no signs of slowing down. Plan a September visit to enjoy The Light Show, make something new at two Create-n-Takes, and try out techniques in the Paint Studio. Remember, general admission is free for youth 18 and under every day.

1. Stop by the new “Light the Way” Create-n-Take
Caleb Hahne will be in the Paint Studio demonstrating painting emotion noon–3 pm August 24–25 and August 31–September 1, 2019. The Paint Studio is included with general admission, which is free for members and youth 18 and under.

1. Make Some Music on the Plaza
