We look forward to seeing you at DIVA (October 4, 2026–January 31, 2027). The DAM is the exclusive US venue for this exhibition from the Victoria & Albert (V&A) Museum touring the world. We hope this guide helps you plan an enjoyable visit.
How do I get tickets to DIVA?
We encourage you to buy tickets in advance on the Denver Art Museum's website or you can buy onsite. Tickets go on sale in August. Adult nonmember tickets start at $29. DIVA tickets for youth age 18 and younger are $5. This is a timed-ticket exhibition with timeslots available every 10 minutes with final entry at 4 pm every day except Tuesdays when the final entry will be 7 pm.
When you buy tickets online, you will receive tickets via email at the email address you provide during the purchasing process. You can print tickets at home or we can scan directly on your smart phone. Tickets purchased online also may be picked up at visitor services desk in the Hamilton Building (the transaction/confirmation number will be required).
How do I get the best price on tickets?
Become a member. Members enjoy free general admission every day and the best price on ticketed exhibitions. Member tickets to DIVA are only $7.
What do my tickets include?
Your ticket to DIVA allows you access to the whole museum (except on Wednesdays when only levels 1 and 2 of the Hamilton Building will be open). Tickets also include headsets that provide musical accompaniment to the exhibition. Present your ticket at the exhibition entrance at the time noted on your ticket to receive a headset.
Where should I park?
The museum is located at 100 W. 14th Avenue Pkwy. See directions. Find us on Google Maps. The most convenient place to park is the Cultural Center Complex Garage at 12th Ave and Broadway. (The DAM does not own or operate this garage.)
Where should I go when I arrive?
DIVA is a timed-ticket exhibition. Visitors will not be admitted into the exhibition prior to the time on their ticket. To ensure timely entry for everyone, please arrive on time (or no later than 15 minutes after the time on your ticket).
This exhibition is in the Hamilton Building on level 2. It may be most convenient to enter via the Hamilton Building (on the south side of 13th Avenue). You also can enter through the Sie Welcome Center. A bridge over 13th Avenue connects the buildings. Check in at the visitor services desk for your admission sticker. If you have purchased your tickets in advance, you can use the express line.
Will DIVA be open on Wednesdays?
Yes, during the exhibition the Denver Art Museum will offer expanded access to DIVA with Wednesday hours 10 am–5 pm. Admission includes galleries in the Hamilton Building. The Ponti also will be open for lunch on Wednesdays 11 am–4 pm during DIVA. The Martin Building and The Kirkland will remain closed on Wednesdays.
When is the best time to visit?
We anticipate that quieter times to see the exhibition will include Wednesdays, Tuesday evenings when the museum is open until 8 pm, and weekday afternoons.
How long does it take to see DIVA?
The exhibition is filled with nearly 250 objects, including 58 costumes from some of your favorite divas. We recommend planning to spend about 1 1/2 hours in the exhibition.
Is the Denver Art Museum accessible with a wheelchair or a walker?
Wheelchairs, strollers, scooters, canes, and walkers are welcome in the museum. Wheelchairs and strollers may be borrowed for your visit by presenting an ID at one of the visitor services desks. Gallery stools are available on each level of the museum.
What if I or someone in my party has low vision?
An online access guide will be available, so you can use your phone to take a closer look at the artworks and corresponding wall text. There will be a QR code inside the exhibition you can use to get the guide on your phone.
How should I dress for a visit to the museum?
Please dress comfortably and in layers to adapt to the changing weather and the different temperatures in the museum.
Does the DAM have restaurants?
Yes! We offer two dining options in the Sie Welcome Center. The Ponti is open every day the museum is open. Menu, hours, and more information.
Visit Café Gio for quick-service, casual dining options. The café is located across the hall from The Ponti on level one of the welcome center.
Does the DAM have lockers?
Free lockers are available in the Hamilton Building and the Martin Building. Large bags are not allowed in the galleries. Because of the configuration of this exhibition, all bags worn on the back will need to be stowed in a locker, regardless of size.
Can I take pictures in the museum?
Feel free to take pictures and video for personal use. Please be considerate of other visitors around you. To protect the artwork, please don’t use your flash. Selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, or similar equipment are not allowed. If you share online, use #DenverArtMuseum.
Can I bring a group to see DIVA?
We would love for your group to visit! We offer discounted ticket packages for private guided tours as well as self-led group visits.
