At Juneteenth in 2022
This summer, we are excited to participate in three community events.
Juneteenth Music Festival
To celebrate Juneteenth, we will have a booth at the Juneteenth Music Festival in Historic Five Points Saturday, June 17–Sunday, June 18. We’ll have fun artmaking activities for the kids and giveaways (while supplies last). Plus Moyo Nguvu Cultural Arts Center and Slam Nuba will join us!
Denver PrideFest
The DAM is joining the largest Pride parade Denver has ever had on Sunday, June 25. Staff and our families and friends will march in support of our local LGBTQ+ community and to help raise funds for The Center on Colfax. The Center is the largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community center in the Rocky Mountain region.
Colorado Dragon Boat Festival
Join us at this celebration of Asian and Asian American heritage at the largest Dragon Boat Festival in the country Saturday, July 22–Sunday, July 23. Our booth will have creative activities and giveaways (while supplies last).
