The Denver Art Museum is partnering with Lighthouse Writers Workshop and instructor Franklin Cruz, who will be facilitating two free bilingual poetry writing sessions inspired by Traitor, Survivor, Icon: The Legacy of La Malinche (which opens February 6).

Participants will be able to create their own works inspired by La Malinche. In addition to creating original works, participants also will have the chance to visit the exhibition at a later date, as well as have their poems recorded and featured in the exhibition.

The first workshop will be 1–3 pm January 15 at Birdseed Collective. Learn more and register.

The second workshop will be 1–3 pm January 22 at Re:Vision. Learn more and register.
