The Denver Art Museum offers a selection of wonderful spaces for a variety of special events. From weddings to corporate parties, from small cocktail parties to large convention events, from lectures to luncheons–the Denver Art Museum is the perfect setting for your event.

Ponti Hall



  • North Building, 1st floor
  • DAM’s newest and largest event space
  • 5,500 square feet
  • Semi-private, large space with parquet flooring
  • Large windows overlooking a private patio and 25-foot ceilings
  • Capacity: 370 guests seated, 500 guests reception, 400 guests lecture
  • Rental Rate: Evening $5,500, Daytime $3,500, Nonprofit (day only) $1,500

Raymond T. & Sara C. Duncan Pavilion



  • North Building, 2nd floor
  • Stunning new space, perfect for a cocktail party or hors d’oeuvres before a seated dinner
  • 3,500 square feet
  • Large wrap around windows with spectacular downtown views
  • Access to Sie Family Terrace, offering outdoor seating and impressive views of the Hamilton Building and the Denver Central Library
  • Close access to Reiman Bridge connecting North and Hamilton Buildings
  • Capacity: 100 guests seated, 150 guests reception
  • Rental Rate: Evening $4,000 (not available during museum hours)

Schlessman Hall

  • DAM’s second largest event space
  • 3,300 square feet
  • Semi-private space with carpeted floors
  • Optional 21' x 21' dance floor
  • Sound system with multiple microphone capability, podium with microphone, 2,800-lumen LCD projector, 18-foot drop-down screen, zoned room lighting system, internet connection, one 220 outlet
  • Capacity: 200 guests seated, 250 guests reception, 275 guests lecture
  • Rental Rate: Evening $4,000, Daytime $3,000, Nonprofit (day only) $1,500

Lewis I. Sharp Auditorium


 


  • Frederic C. Hamilton Building, lower level
  • DAM’s new auditorium, perfect for corporate meetings or evening lectures
  • State-of-the-art sound system with multiple microphone capability, programmable house and theatrical lighting,12,000-lumen LCD projector, large theater screen, podium with microphone, internet connection, 35mm/16mm film projection
  • Rental includes lobby immediately outside auditorium for receptions
  • No food or drink allowed in auditorium, but food and drink allowed in lobby
  • Capacity: 266 lecture (fixed seating), plus 10 spaces for accessibility
  • Rental Rates: Evening $1,200, Daytime $750, Nonprofit (day only)

El Pomar Grand Atrium


  • Frederic C. Hamilton Building, 1st and 2nd floors
  • Restricted availability for private events
  • Call the events department for information on hosting a private event in the atrium

The Denver Art Museum also has a variety of smaller meeting rooms available. Please contact the events department for availability and pricing.

The Denver Art Museum is pleased to offer its members a 10 percent discount off of the listed rental rates.

Included in the rental rates listed above: use of designated event space and appropriate entrances and exits, security for designated event space, maintenance prior to the event, use of the museum’s tables and chairs (as available) and use of the museum’s Steinway grand piano (as available). Please note, events held during the evening may not begin until 5:30pm and must be completed by no later than 11pm (exceptions may apply).

To get started planning your event at the Denver Art Museum, please fill out the DAM Event Inquiry Form with details about your event and fax it to the Events Department at 720-865-5196. A member of the events department staff will contact you within 48 hours to discuss the details of your event and the availability of the museum’s spaces.
