The Denver Art Museum would like to thank everyone who supported Collectors’ Choice 29 on December 3, 2009! The gala raised over $632,000 which will support the Director’s Acquisition Fund.

Collectors' Choice 29 honored 20 years of outstanding leadership by Lewis I. Sharp, Frederick and Jan Mayer Director of the museum. Lewis’ visionary approach and ambition for Denver’s arts and cultural entities have led the Denver Art Museum through an era of explosive growth in the collection and campus, and solidified its reputation as one of the top regional art museums in the country. His advocacy and entrepreneurialism have also helped spark a citywide arts agenda that is rapidly making Denver the cultural capital of the Rocky Mountain West.
