The Denver Art Museum offers a selection of wonderful spaces for a variety of special events. From weddings to corporate parties, from small cocktail parties to large conventions, from lectures to luncheons—the DAM is the perfect setting for your event.

Ponti Hall

• North Building, level 1
• DAM’s newest and largest event space
• 5,500 square feet
• Semi-private, large space with parquet flooring
• Large windows overlooking private patio and 25-foot ceilings
• Capacity: 370 seated, 500 reception, 400 lecture
• Rental Rate: Evening $4,000, Daytime $2,000, Nonprofit (Tues–Thurs, 10 am–5 pm) $1,000

Raymond T. & Sally C. Duncan Pavilion

• North Building, level 2
  
• Stunning new space, perfect for a cocktail party or hors d’oeuvres before a seated dinner
• 3,500 square feet
• Large wrap around windows with spectacular downtown views
• Access to Sie Family Terrace, offering outdoor seating and impressive views of the Hamilton Building and the Denver Central Library
• Close access to Reiman Bridge connecting North and Hamilton Buildings
• Capacity: 100 seated, 150 reception
• Rental Rate: Evening $2,000 (not available during museum hours)

Schlessman Hall

• North Building, level 1
  
• DAM’s second largest event space
• 3,300 square feet
• Semi-private space with carpeted floors
• Optional 21' x 21' dance floor
• Sound system with multiple microphone capability, podium with microphone, 2,800-lumen LCD projector, 18-foot drop-down screen, zoned room lighting system, internet connection, one 220 outlet
• Capacity: 200 guests seated, 250 guests reception, 275 guests lecture
• Rental Rate: Evening $2,000, Daytime $1,500, Nonprofit (Tues–Thurs, 10 am–5 pm) $500

Lewis I. Sharp Auditorium

• Hamilton Building, lower level
• DAM’s new auditorium, perfect for corporate meetings or evening lectures
• State-of-the-art sound system with multiple microphone capability, programmable house and theatrical lighting,12,000-lumen LCD projector, large theater screen, podium with microphone, internet connection, 35mm/16mm film projection
• Rental includes lobby immediately outside auditorium for receptions
• No food or drink allowed in auditorium, but food and drink allowed in lobby
• Capacity: 266 lecture (fixed seating), plus 10 spaces for accessibility
• Rental Rates: Evening $1,200, Daytime $750, Nonprofit (Tues–Thurs, 10 am–5 pm) $500

El Pomar Grand Atrium

• Hamilton Building, levels 1 and 2
• 1,729 square feet on level 1, plus 338 square feet on level 2 (can be combined or used separately)
• Dramatically sloping walls, beautiful black granite floors, a magnificent staircase, and access to a patio adjacent to the beautiful tree-lined Martin Plaza in front of the Hamilton Building
• Capacity: 175 seated, 350 reception (can increase up to 3,000 guests for a reception when galleries are open)
• Rental Rate: Evening $7,500 (not available during museum hours)

General Rental Information

We are pleased to offer museum members a 10 percent discount on rental rates.

The rates listed above include use of designated event space and appropriate entrances and exits, security for designated space, maintenance prior to the event, and use of the museum’s tables, chairs, and Steinway grand piano (as available). Evening events may not begin until 5:30 pm and must be completed no later than 11 pm (exceptions may apply).
