Relicarios and Escudos: Devotional Jewels from Latin America

For almost 40 years, Latin American folk art dealer Martha Egan has studied relicarios. These exquisitely painted miniatures or carved images of favorite saints or members of the Holy Family were worn by the faithful to show devotion and protect the wearer from harm.

Doors open at 2 pm.
