Face of the Samurai: The Spectacular Armor of Feudal Japan

Samurai armor expert Barry Ellsworth will introduce the battle garb of the samurai, where exquisitely crafted russet iron, lacquer, silk, and gilt filigree combine to create the ferocious mien of the samurai warrior.
Free for Asian Art Association members, $5 students/teachers, $7 museum members, $10 others. Purchase lecture tickets at the door.
