Denver Arts Week and Night at the Museums
The museum will be open late and general admission is free to celebrate Night at the Museums. Part of Denver Arts Week, Night at the Museums is a special evening where Denver’s top museums stay open late, offering special events and fun for free (a special ticket is required for Becoming Van Gogh, and advance purchase is recommended).
During Night at the Museums, visitors will be treated to a few special guests as the museum stays open late. Iconic artists Vincent van Gogh and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec will be stopping by the museum to meet museum-goers, mix and mingle with the crowd. These masters of the canvas will stroll through the DAM from 5 to 9 p.m. The permanent collections are open for free for visitors. Guests can also receive a $5 discount off full price adult tickets to Becoming Van Gogh by entering the code NIGHT for tickets purchased to view the exhibition the evening of Nov. 3. The museum is encouraging visitors to book in advance as tickets are selling fast for that evening.
Because this event occurs on Free First Saturday, general admission is free 10 am–10 pm. Free First Saturday is sponsored by Target. Made possible by the citizens who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
